1. 报告题目: Convex integration method and non-uniqueness of weak solutions for viscous fluids.

报告摘要In this talk, I will discuss the method of convex integration and its applications in proving the non-uniqueness of weak solutions to PDEs for viscous fluids such as hyper-viscous incompressible Navier- Stokes equations as well as the hypo-viscous compressible Navier-Stokes equations. This talk is based on the joint works with Peng Qu, Zirong Zeng, and Deng Zhang.

主讲人简介 李亚纯,上海交通大学长聘教授,博士生导师。长期从事非线性偏微分方程的理论与应用研究,先后主持国家级和上海市自然科学基金项目十余项(含国家自然科学基金重点项目1项),发表论文近70篇,出版英文译著3本。国际期刊Comm. Pure Appl. Anal. 和Commun. Math. Anal. Appl. 的编委, 上海市曙光学者,入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划。上海市工业与应用数学学会副理事长,上海市数学建模竞赛组委会副主任,教育部高等学校大学数学课程教学指导委员会委员,高等学校大学数学教学研究与发展中心学术委员会委员。曾获上海市自然科学一等奖和上海市教学成果一等奖,上海市精品课程“工程数学(系列课程)”负责人。

2. 报告题目: Global convergence rate from hyperbolic systems to parabolic systems.

报告摘要:It was proved that smooth solutions of partially dissipative hyperbolic systems converge to those of parabolic systems in the zero-relaxation limit with a slow time scaling. In a finite time interval, the convergence rate was established by asymptotic expansion methods. In this talk, I will present recent results on the global-in-time convergence rate. This concerns the system of balance laws in one space dimension, Euler-Maxwell systems and Euler-Poisson systems in several space dimensions. The stream function techniques and energy methods will be discussed.

主讲人简介 Yue-Jun. Peng, 法国克莱蒙大学教授,博导。 主要从事数理模型的理论分析和数值模拟,发表论文近百篇,专著1部。在国际著名期刊Ann.Inst.H.Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire, Ann.Scuola.Norm.Pisa, Communication PDE, Inverse Problems, J.Diff.Equations, J.Math.Pures Appl., Nonlinearity, SIAM J.Math.Analysis上发表论文。
